The customer wanted to improve & modernise the character of the house which was built in the 1970's and had dated, single glazed windows from that era.

The customers wanted stained finished hardwood to create a warm and welcoming feel.

Initially the customer wanted Oak as a material but the cost proved too inhibitive so we recommended using Red Gradis Hardwood with a light Oak stain finish. This timber has similar characteristics to Oak and with a light Oak stain finish, is very similar in appearance.
